Founded in Galway City in 1990 by Mary Hoare, Hoare Chartered Accountants provides comprehensive accounting, tax, and compliance solutions to SMEs, family businesses, self-employed professionals, and private clients across the West of Ireland.

Mary Hoare F.C.A. Managing Director & FounderA Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland, Mary is the founding member of the practice and has overseen its growth since formation. Mary has over 30 years of practice experience in all aspects of practice. She specialises in the areas of Accounts Preparation, Personal Tax, Restructure, Company Law and Insolvency. She completed a Diploma in Insolvency with Chartered Accountants Ireland.

Eddie Hoare F.C.A. Director
Eddie is an Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland and has over 10 years of practice experience. Prior to joining the practice, Eddie worked closely with a large portfolio of clients providing audit and corporate advisory services. He specialises in the areas of Audit & Assurance, Accounts Preparation, Company Taxation and Corporate Finance. Eddie has also served as Mayor of the City of Galway in 2023-2024 and is a former Galway Intercounty Footballer.
